準備は大丈夫だ...と思うわ。

So, today I finally got my visa that says I can go to Japan, hurah! This is the first time I've ever got a visa, I was surprised that it's so small. Surely such an important document should be a three-foot long iron pole or made from gold leaf or something? Then again I see the practical advantages of a little page stapled to my passport over those other ideas.

Three weeks to go until I wave goodbye to Blighty. Still seems unreal; I wonder when the full impact will hit me? Getting off the plane on the other side, perhaps. In any case, all that remains is to e-mail off one more form, get some money to tide me over until I open a bank account over there, pack my bags and then I'm all ready ^_^. That and practise Japanese a lot more...
